HELLO ☺
I'm May,
About
About
An interior architect turned product designer based in LA.
I find beauty in the details, whether I'm designing a space or crafting a user interface.
My design journey began in architecture and interior design, where I became enamored by how thoughtful spaces can shape human behavior and emotion. During my time in New York City, I worked with various architecture firms designing high-end hotels, restaurants, and casinos around the world—projects that taught me how every detail contributes to the overall experience.
What drew me to product design was realizing how similar digital interfaces are to the physical spaces I'd been designing. Both require deep empathy for the people using them, an understanding of how users move through and interact with your creation, and the ability to solve complex problems through elegant solutions.
When I'm not designing, you'll find me:
✿ Serenading houseplants with Rachmaninoff
✿ Hosting chaotic dinner parties that somehow work
✿ Driving absurd distances for gud fud
✿ International waterfall chasing
✿ Or perfecting my daily matcha microfoam

Some restaurant projects I've worked on that were constructed in Asia.
Used autoCAD for architectural drawings and Revit for 3D model rendering.
